Time Elapses Quicker Than You Suspect

Since I last posted two shows have gone past, one show has been cancelled, and the second of the shows that I did was only an hour long due to the technical problems that led to Tuesdays show being cancelled.
So you may be asking what is going on in the world of Distorted Vision? First Distorted Vision is no more, I've had issues with the show name for some time, and after discussions with others close to the show I've decided that show name is to change. So what is the shows name going to be? I don't currently have a show name ready, I will however say that I'm toying with the idea of keeping it simple and not linking to a genre and name the show after myself, this however makes me uncomfortable, I for one am not one for the idea of bigging myself up by my name, hell I find it hard enough to say my name on air, but it seems that this could be the only logical step, especially when the show doesn't really have a fixed genre, just a fixed idea to expose music that I think is great. Sorry to disappoint the shows mission is not to rinse TTC and M.I.A it just seems like that's what I've been doing alot, recentally.
In further ego-maniac activities of the man called France I may well be setting up a website, this will all be based upon how often I can update this place, and just what on earth I can put up on the site.

This is it...

Distorted Vision roles out on FM for the first time in well over a year, very little has changed, music is still the best leftfield beats and some. So the score is this Distorted Vision on NSR FM at 106.7 fm in Newcastle or www.nsrfm.com for those worldwide! We're keeping that 10 til Midnight slot on Tuesdays which is always good if you ask me. This will, this week, lead to a logistical nightmare involving cats, taxis, public transport and university induction (fingers crossed).
Meanwhile in far cooler news Distorted Vision gets back to in smokey rooms with pints and links up with Lightbomb and Hadoken at the Head of Steam, on Wednesday 5th October. Expect some pre-gig fun the night before with myself and Lightbomb live on the airwaves.

Distorted Vision will be online, on air and hopefully on fire as of Tuesday 27th September at 10pm, sadly it appears it will be only one hour...though I might just sit tight for the second hour.
So what you'll be hearing is anything from dub to breakcore, reggae to grime and hell quite abit of hip hop...all this free from your Westwood, Zane Lowe style hype with no love.
